La calle Santa Catalina - Arequipa

Icould have chosen to stop in Tacna, Peru but I finally decided to extend my trip to Arequipa, the second largest town in the country.
Actually, I thought that it wouldn't be a good idea to rest in a city so close to the border of Chile.
My past experience with Tijuana, Mexico won't contradict this theory. Border cities are often the place of robbery and corruption, especially on the american's continent in its overall.
